Accelerated literacy and numeracy learning
When Armando was a teaching facilitator in northern Mozambique he worked to accelerate reading and math skills among students in rural schools. He helped children who had struggled for years to read and perform basic arithmetic in just 50 days. Using the Wichutha Nithuelaca program, Armando has seen significant progress: for example, a shy girl named Anastasia overcame early difficulties to proudly read aloud to her classmates. The program’s success was demonstrated during a final assessment involving community leaders and parents, who were impressed by the remarkable improvement in students’ abilities within a short time.
