Jazzera Muneer

Jazzera is a special educator with experience supporting students with learning difficulties in both Dubai and India. She argues that inclusive education should be standard, not a privilege. A major challenge she faces in India is parental acceptance, as many parents struggle to understand the need for accommodations and modifications. The societal stigma around learning difficulties further hinders support. She says that inclusive education requires strong school leadership, inclusive policies, and a shift in mindset to ensure that all children receive the necessary support, with school leaders setting the vision for inclusivity.
