Maliha works for Teach For All, challenging beliefs about girls’ abilities in math and science. Teach For All aims to change teacher attitudes and textbooks that perpetuate traditional gender roles, to challenge gender-based violence, and to create leadership opportunities for girls. Teach for All is a global network that works closely with independent local partners around the world. They build the capacity of teacher leaders to strengthen teaching practices in classrooms and communities.

Maliha Fawzia is a former teacher and was head of training for Teach For Bangladesh. Her experience as a teacher has shaped her passion for gender-responsive pedagogies and inclusive education, which she focuses on as Global Head of Girls’ Education at Teach For All.
